J. Rivet Construction specializes in residential new construction, commercial construction and land development. The company was launched in 2007 by owner Josh Rivet after moving home to Baton Rouge with more than 15 years of homebuilding experience in Atlanta and Mobile, Alabama.
His hands-on approach to each project, quality of final product and attention to detail on every aspect of the construction process makes him unique. From preparing the land to final walk through, Josh is on the jobsite, usually covered in dirt, attending to the most important aspects of the process. Direct communication with the builder himself has resulted in many happy clients throughout the years.
JRC is pleased to work with a refined network of architects, interior designers, subcontractors, local craftsmen and landscape architects from across the region to bring the finest quality product and service to customers.
Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Josh is a graduate of Catholic High School and Louisiana State University. An entrepreneur at heart, he learned the value of hard work, dedication and customer service by launching a successful landscaping company while still in high school. Josh is proud to be a small business owner, living and working in the city he loves.
After years of working for advertising agencies across the Southeast, Rachel Rivet joined J. Rivet Construction in 2013, bringing her professional expertise in client management, new business development, comprehensive marketing strategies and event planning to the company. She works with clients on interior selections, managing schedules and budgets, and company marketing efforts.
Now a husband-and-wife team, Josh and Rachel work together to provide an enjoyable, seamless experience for all clients, whether it is purchasing land for a multi-lot development or listing a newly-constructed home. In 2017, they both became real estate agents and launched J. Rivet Realty, LLC, in order to bring projects directly to market and deepen their knowledge of the real estate industry.
